What to do? I know.. Blog!

Its 2.51 pm and i'm ridiculously bored at work. Well, not exactly bored, just exhausted from doing so much that im gonna give myself a well deserved rest and slack off for an hour. Instead of completely wasting my time, im going to ramble on for a bit about the holidays so far...

Indians. Our 'favourite people'. My journey back to Kuching was hell-ish because of 'them'. After a late night out, i had to get up early to catch my 11am flight back home the next morning. I would first like to clarify that im not a racist and do not support any form of discrimination.* Anyway, to my disgust, i had to get up really early in the morning only to be greeted by a smelly ass indian taxi-driver. The freaking cab smelt like coconut oil and when we finally arrived at the airport after a long long long long long ride, my shirt smelt like disgusting indian coconut oil and furthermore, i was made 80AUD poorer. Stop eating so God-damn many coconuts and curry you hustlers! Really wrecked my mood and made me sick throughout the flight. I was reliefed when the plane finally touched down in Kuching. No matter how bad and humid the weather is, how filthy the environment is and how awlful the drivers are, Kuching is home and i love the familiarity and comfort that we enjoy back home.

So far Kuching has been all that i remembered it was. Ample good and affordable food, poker, futsal, basketball, pool and of course fantastic company. Enjoying every moment in Kuching and plenty more to come. Unfortunately, im usually exhausted by 11 pm every night. Anyway, back to more boring numbers. Stupid dateline =(

Here's a good piece of advice although its stating the obvious: Don't work if you don't have to!

On the notice board in front of the staff room was this sign.
Then I thought, that's not entirely accurate. So I corrected it.

...they eventually took it down... humm..

À Aidan

I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three

The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine

For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic

I know I’ll never see the sun, as 1.7321
Such is my reality, a sad irrationality

When hark! What is this I see,
Another square root of a three

As quietly co-waltzing by,
Together now we multiply
To form a number we prefer,
Rejoicing as an integer

We break free from our mortal bonds
With the wave of magic wands

Our square root signs become unglued
Your love for me has been renewed

Law-less living for 3 months =)

Exams over!!! I reckon its the best feeling in the world when u just finish sitting for the exam and get out of the damn examination hall. Everything is hyped up and everyones so excited. After a while, all this excitement will probably die down. Anyway, straight after my management(dodgiest subject ever) exam, went to the city to have dinner and then play pool with a couple of uni friends. The problem with uni exams is that everybody finishes at a different time because generally everyone takes different subjects. After that dropped by tian's place to pick up the poker set and hung round for a bit before heading back to glen.

Upon arriving at glenny station, i received a phone call from a friend and so rushed home to discuss plans for the hols online. When i almost reached home(15 min walk), i realised that i left my poker set on the train. I sprinted back to the station in record breaking time(5 mins) in hope of getting to the train before it left for the city. Easily the most excercise i got all year. Checked the carriage i was in earlier and it was gone. Asked around and no one saw it :(

Fortunately theres a happy ending to this story. Some white dude saw the poker set and left it with customer service(thats what they told me). Aussies are so damn honest as oppose to Malaysians. I remember leaving a tin of coke out for a minute and it was gone when i came back for it. Anyway thank God cause the poker set was a gift from all the melb ppl and has special sentimental value to me. Good good day :)

Ok im done rambling and as if anyone read that but yea, gonna go sleep now. Haven been getting my mandatory 12 hours a day sleep for an entire week! Back in Kch on friday. Cant wait!

*Also good luck to all the singapore ppl sitting for 'a' levels although i doubt u guys will need it.
